HOW TO REGISTER: AWARDS PROGRAMME COMPLIANCE

The Awards Trade Association (ATA) was established to promote ethical practices, uphold industry standards, and encourage transparency and inclusivity in awards ceremonies. We represent a broad spectrum of award-giving bodies, with members hailing from diverse sectors, including arts and entertainment, sciences, business, and more. Our goal is to foster an environment that recognizes genuine achievement while maintaining the highest standards of integrity and compliance.

With all these measures in place, ATA can help in the prevention of illegitimate awards. By ensuring that all member organizations adhere to set standards and ethical guidelines, illegitimate awards that are based on biases, favouritism, or a lack of transparent processes can be greatly minimized.

ATA Membership Criteria:
  1. Organization Status: The applicant must be a legally registered organization or entity.

  2. Awards Practice: The applicant should be an entity that hosts or organizes awards in any field (e.g., arts, sciences, business, etc.).

  4. Process Transparency: The applicant must have a well-documented and transparent process for award selection, which will be subject to review by the ATA.

  5. Inclusivity: The applicant must demonstrate commitment to diversity and inclusivity in their awards selection process.

  6. Reputation: The applicant should have a good standing in their respective field, with no serious misconduct or violations related to their award-giving activities.
